The Swiss-Kosovo Local Governance and Decentralization Support – LOGOS – is a Local Governance Project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by the Swiss Foundation Intercooperation. LOGOS promotes the development of Local Governance and Decentralization reforms in municipalities of Kosovo. During the assessment of the organization and functioning of LOGOS partner municipalities, financial management has been prioritized by them as one area where LOGOS could support them. Subsequently, LOGOS in 2009 that aims at strengthening the managerial and professional capacities of the executive in the partner municipalities in line with the new legal decentralization framework. LOGOS intends to propose different kinds of support to its partner municipalities. The project aims to assess the relevant legal framework, financial management and budget process situation in LOGOS partner municipalities. |
